Original antique icon of St. Nicholas Mozhaisk
This icon of the St. Nicholas Mozhaisk was painted in the first half of the 17h century, circa 1620.  An amazing and museum quality icon with very little restoration and in excellent condition.  The panel has minimal warp and both splines are in place on the reverse.  Not only is this a very rare and desirable subject, but its color composition is truly unique and desirable.  This would be an exceptional addition to ones home prayer corner or, moreover, as a blessing to any parish where many faithful could appreciate such a striking icon.
