This beautiful Orthodox Dormition shroud (plashchanytsia) is crafted from rich blue velvet and features a fully embroidered icon of the Most Holy Theotokos lying in repose. The central image depicts the Mother of God clothed in a red mantle, surrounded by delicate floral ornamentation and an elegant embroidered border.
The shroud is richly decorated with white lilies, golden floral designs, and embroidered angels in each corner. Traditional Church Slavonic inscriptions surround the central image, while golden metallic fringe and decorative corner tassels complete this beautiful liturgical furnishing, intended for use during the Feast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos.
