Large Orthodox Church Censer with Bells – Silver-Plated Brass, 21 cm
This beautifully crafted Orthodox church censer features an elegant architectural design inspired by traditional Russian church domes, with intricate openwork ornamentation and a polished silver-plated finish. Made from solid brass, the censer combines traditional ecclesiastical craftsmanship with a distinctive and richly detailed appearance.
The tall, tapering lid is decorated with elaborate pierced floral patterns and crowned with an ornamental Orthodox cross. The rounded lower bowl features matching openwork decoration, while the suspension chains are fitted with traditional bells that produce a gentle ringing sound during censing. The censer rests on a decorative pedestal base with rounded feet.
A removable metal charcoal cup is included for convenient use and cleaning. The openwork construction allows incense smoke to rise freely during liturgical services.
The censer measures 10 cm (3.94 inches) in diameter and 21 cm (8.27 inches) in height, with an overall hanging length of 63 cm (24.8 inches), including the chains. It weighs approximately 651 grams (1.44 lbs).
A beautiful and substantial ecclesiastical censer suitable for regular use during the Divine Liturgy, Vespers, Matins, and other Orthodox church services.
