The "Glory Unto Thee" icon of the Mother of God is a very rare depiction in honor of the Orthodox hymn It is Truly Meet. The theme of this icon is broken into four sections: It is truly meet..., Ever blessed most pure..., More honorable than the Cherubim and Without corruption gave birth to God the Word. The original of this image is dated to the second half of the 17th century and, most likely, originates from the Moscow school.
