Authentic antique metal icon of the Holy Cross
Enameled icon of the Holy Cross depicting the Savior crucified. This icon is in very good condition and has three colors of enamel on the face. The Savior on the Cross is surrounded by St. Mary, the Mother of God (left) and St. John the Theologian and St. Longinus the centurion (right). There is also cast two angels at the top, Slavonic inscriptions, and the spear and the sponge. 19th century, Russian.
